SAD to support INLD LS candidates in Haryana

Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will support Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidates across Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections, a top leader said on Monday.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the party’s Haryana unit presided over by state in-charge Balwinder Singh Bhundar. SAD Haryana unit President Sharanjit Singh Sotha was also present.
INLD general secretary Abhey Chautala also joined the meeting held at the SAD’s head office here and thanked the Haryana unit’s decision to extend wholehearted support to the INLD in the parliamentary polls. He said the two parties were traditional alliance partners and their unity in the forthcoming elections would help the INLD emerge victorious.
