Lok Sabha Polls: Integrated Election Control Room and MCMC Centre established in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 19 (UNI) Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, an Integrated Election Control Room (IECR) and Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) Centre have been established in Srinagar.
An official spokesman said IECR and MCMC centre, providing round-the-clock facilities, integrated the latest technology with the poll process, and implemented an efficient coordination mechanism in election-related activities.
The centre will ensure better coordination among line Departments for the smooth conduct of upcoming Lok Sabha election-related activities and monitor violations of the model code of conduct (MCC), if any.
