J&K:  Apni Party exploring possibility to forge poll alliance in Lok Sabha election

Srinagar, March 18 (UNI) Apni Party has said that it will explore the possibility of having an alliance with the like-minded parties for the Lok Sabha election to be held in April and May in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a party statement issued here on Monday, an extraordinary meeting of party leaders was held here in Srinagar today during which Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari was authorized to explore the possibility of an alliance with like-minded parties in Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting also discussed the present political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir in view of the Lok Sabha election.

On this occasion, the feedback from all the Lok Sabha constituencies was thoroughly discussed during which the leaders authorised the party president to explore the possibility of forging alliance with like-minded parties.

The leaders discussed the present political situation in J&K and chalked out the party’s poll strategy. The party leaders shared their perspectives and ideas regarding the various aspects of the upcoming elections.
