Rs 8 lakh cash recovered from car in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 25 (UNI) The special striking surveillance team, formed by the district administration, on Monday recovered an unaccounted cash of Rs eight lakh from a car during a special checking at the check-post.
The district administration on instructions of the Election Commission formed the surveillance team that had set up a special check-post on the Circular Road area of the city.
The team intercepted a car and during the search, cash worth Rs eight lakh was recovered from the vehicle, and it was seized on the spot, sources said.
