Integrity, kindness, loyalty dominant character traits of Jammu youth, reveals Phd Scholar’s study

Jammu, Sep 12 (UNI) In the findings by a Phd Scholar from Jammu it was revealed that integrity, kindness, spirituality, fairness and citizenship came out to be signature and top character strengths in college students in this region, it was announced here on Sunday.
Professor (Dr) Romesh Kumar in his Ph. D research study under the supervision of Dr Arti Akashi, Prof and Head Department of Psychology, University of Jammu, after study of students from all the degree colleges of district Jammu, found that the students were higher on community strengths and comparatively lower on temperance (self-control) strengths.
“Males scored better than females on strengths of courage viz: bravery, perseverance and vitality whereas females scored higher than males on love and kindness,” Dr Sharma said as per his study.
