JU plays pivotal role in offering multidisciplinary education: J&K Chief Secy

Jammu, Mar 14 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo on Thursday said that as a hub for higher education institutions in the region, the University of Jammu plays a pivotal role in offering multidisciplinary education, fostering research-oriented undergraduate training, and introducing innovative programmes such as the “Design Your Degree” initiative.
He was speaking at the closing ceremony of a three-day workshop on Capacity Building and Leadership Development for the implementation of NEP 2020, with special emphasis on Internationalisation of Higher Education, inaugurated by the Lieutenant Governor and Chancellor, University of Jammu, Manoj Sinha.
Dulloo highlighted the significance of capacity building in leadership development, considering India's position as the world's second-largest education system.
