Haryana : Applications invited from 6 minority communities for scholarship schemes

Chandigarh, Oct 11 (UNI) Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Minorities, has invited applications from six minority communities for pre-matric, post-matric and merit-cum-means scholarship schemes for the year 2021-22, officials said on Monday.
Giving this information on Monday, an official spokesperson said that the last date to apply online for pre-matric scholarship is November 15, 2021 and the last date to apply online for post-matric scholarship and merit-cum-means / top-class scholarship is November 30, 2021.
He said that the applicant should be a student of any one of the notified minority communities (Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi, Muslim, Christian) and the family income should not exceed the prescribed limit. He said that the applicant should be studying in any government or private recognized university / institutes / colleges / schools. The minimum duration of the course should be one year and the applicant must have secured 50 per cent or more marks in the previous annual board class examination.
