Eight arrested for kidnapping and murder of boy

Auraiya (UP), Mar 25 (UNI) Eight persons were arrested by the police on Monday for the kidnapping and murder of an 11-year-old boy from the Airwa Katra area of Auraiya district in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Charu Nigam said Shubaan, son of a jeweller Shakeel, left his house on Saturday afternoon to play with his colleagues but did not return till late night. "The family members informed the police after which a case was lodged," she said.
She said the family members raised suspicion that their neighbour Riyaz Siddiqui alias Munna along with his aides had kidnapped Subhaan. "Acting on the information the police tracked the mobile phones of the accused and their location was traced in the National Capital Region (NCR)," she said.
