Illegal mining: SHO, two constables suspended in Saharanpur

Saharanpur, Sep 18 (UNI) Three policemen, including a Station House Officer (SHO) have been suspended for 'negligence' in an illegal mining case here, police said on Friday.
DIG Range Saharanpur Upendra Agarwal here said complaints of illegal mining taking place in the Chilkana and Sarsawan area, were being received.
It was alleged that some influential people are engaged in illegal mining activities after colluding with the police. When the probe was conducted into the matter, the allegations were found to be true, the DIG said.
