Police receive hoax bomb call in express train

Barabanki (UP), Apr 7 (UNI) Panic gripped the passengers after a hoax call regarding a bomb being planted inside the Barauni-Gwalior Express was received by the police in Barabanki on Sunday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Chiranjivi Nath said a call was received at around 9.32 AM that there was a bomb in Barauni-Gwalior Express. Soon after the call was received police force along with fire tenders, a dog squad, and a bomb disposal squad immediately reached the railway station.
He said the dog squad and bomb disposal squad thoroughly checked all the coaches of the train, but nothing was found. He the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) also checked the entire station premises.

Police said after obtaining an attachment order from the Court of Sub Judge Uri, it attached properties (6 Kanals & 10 Marlas) land worth lakhs belonging to a terror handler based in Pakistan identified as Adrees Ahmad Mir a resident of Singtung Gowhallan Uri.
