UP: Police receives hoax bomb call in express train

Barabanki (UP), Apr 7 (UNI) Panic gripped the passengers after a hoax call regarding a bomb being planted inside the Barauni-Gwalior Express was received by the police in Barabanki on Sunday, police sources said.
Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Chiranjivi Nath said that around 9:32 am, a call was received that there was a bomb on the Barauni-Gwalior Express. He said that the police force, along with fire tenders, a dog squad, and a bomb disposal squad, immediately reached the railway station.
He said that the dog squad and bomb disposal squad thoroughly checked all the coaches on the train, but nothing was found. He said that along with the train, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) checked the entire station premises.
