Man arrested for sister's murder in Bareilly

Bareilly (UP), Apr 3 (UNI) A man was arrested by the police on Wednesday for killing his sister and later burying her body inside the house in Subhash Nagar area of Bareilly district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (City) Rahul Bhati said that Rani, who was married in Uttarakhand, came to her parents house in Sanaiya Dhansingh village, on March 15 after the death of her mother. "Rani went missing on March 21 after which her brother Lakhan lodged a missing report," he said.
He said that during investigation when Rani's brother Ramu was quizzed strictly broke down and admitted that he killed his sister. "On the identification of Ramu, when the freshly laid floor of his house was dug up, Rani's body was found four feet below it. The body has been sent for postmortem examination and Ramu has been arrested," he said.
