Punjab police arrest 3 operatives of foreign-based absconding gangster

Patiala, Mar 15 (UNI) Acting swiftly on a tip off, Punjab police on Friday arrested three operatives of a foreign-based absconding Gangster Gurwinder Singh alias Gurbaj, who were actively involved in arms trafficking, extortion and other criminal activities
DGP Gaurav Yadav said the preliminary interrogation revealed that they were tasked to carry target killing of a rival member of Goldy Dhillon Gang by Gurwinder Singh alias Gurbaj presently based in Portugal and was mastermind behind firing incident at Sector 5, Chandigarh.
He said an FIR has been registered at PS Rajpura, Patiala. Further investigation in process. UNI GS SSP
