BSF seizes 3.830 kg heroin from Punjab border

Jalandhar, Oct, 8 (UNI) Border Security Force seized four packets of contraband suspected to be
heroin from the area of responsibility of 103 Bn, Ferozpur sector 2.
A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier’s BSF Headquarter here said Thursday that the alert BSF troops observed suspicious activities of some mischievous people ahead of the Border security Fence and challenged then following which they ran towards the Pakistan Territory. During search four packets of contraband suspected to be heroin weighing 3.830 kg were found from the area of responsibility of 103 Bn of the BSF in Ferozpur sector-2. Value of the heroin in the international market is said to be more than Rs 19 crore.
