BSF recovers Pakistani Drones along with 3.5kg Heroin

Amritsar, Feb 29 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Thursday seized a Pakistani drone with three packets of suspected heroin attached with it on the international border in Punjab's Amritsar district, an official said.
The troopers intercepted the movement of the drone in the morning, and tracked its movement to cordon off the likely dropping zone. An extensive search was conducted., following which the troopers successfully recovered one Hexacopter with three packets of suspected heroin weighing 3 kilo in an area adjacent to village Uttar Dhariwal of Amritsar. an Apple mobile phone and an illuminating ball were also found.
Around the same time, the BSF troopers on duty intercepted the movement of a drone on the border in district Tarn Taran. Following the laid-down drill, BSF troopers successfully recovered a small Quadcopter (Model - DJI Mavic 3 Classic) drone along with One packet of 542gms suspected heroin attached to it from a farming field, ahead of the border security fence near village Noorwala of District TarnTaran.
