Hardcore criminal booked under PSA in J&K’s Kathua

Jammu, Feb 28 (UNI) Police on Wednesday booked one hardcore criminal under Public Safety Act in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that one Makkhan Din, resident Chack Desa Choudhrian, Tehsil Marheen, District Kathua, who was involved in series of criminal activities like bovine smuggling, organised crime and disrupted peace of the area, has been booked under the Public Safety Act following registration of number of cases against him.
The accused, police said was lodged at Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu by the police team lead by Inspector Rajeshwer Singh Slathia, Station House Officer Police Station Rajbagh under the supervision of SDPO Border Chadwal Deeraj Kotach and overall supervision of SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh.
