Srinagar, April 7 (UNI) Police attach the properties of three alleged terror activists who have infiltrated Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Lateef, a resident of Sultandaki; Sadar Din of Madiyan; and Aziz Din of Singtung Gowhallan, who have exfiltrated to PoJK/Pakistan and were declared proclaimed offenders by the police.
“The properties of 18 Kanals and 6 Marlas, 9 Marlas and 12 Kanals, respectively, have been attached after obtaining orders from the Sub Judge Uri," the police said on Sunday.
The action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC and is linked with cases FIR No. 88/1984 u/s 7/25 IA Act, 4, 3 TADA Act, and 13/1987 u/s 457, 380 RPC, 6/2008 u/s 2/3 EIMCO, and case FIR No. 116/1996 u/s 2/3 EIMCO of PS Uri.
“The property was identified belonging to Proclaimed Offenders during the course of the investigation or inquiry conducted by the police," the police said, adding that “the operation reaffirms the commitment of the police to combat the terror activities.”
