Misappropriation of antique coins: Jammu Crime Branch search jailer’s premises

Jammu, Sep 12 (UNI) A team of Crime Branch Jammu on Saturday searched the residential house of then-Superintendent Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu, in the city for her alleged involvement in the misappropriation of antique coins, recovered during the year 2012 by convicts lodged in the Central Jail premises.
The official spokesman here said that the coins were recovered while digging the earth in jail premises for kitchen gardening and growing vegetables.
The search was conducted after a search warrant was obtained from the Court. In this regard case FIR number 30/2015 under section 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC, 5/24 Treasure Trove Act stands already registered in Police Station Crime Branch Jammu.
