Police arrest three under NDPS Act in Kangra district

Dharamshala, Apr 5 ( UNI) Kàngra Police have recovered 1.112 kgs of charas at two different places from two vehicles in Kangra district and arrested three persons under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances ( NDPS) Act.
Police also impounded the two vehicles used in the crime, police said here on Friday.
Kangra district Superintendent of Police Shailini Agnihotri told UNI that on late Thursday evening 1.30 kg of Charas was recovered from a Vehicle at Upper Dadh under the Palampur Police station area. She said a case has been registered against the driver Harshit Sharma, a resident of Ward No. 1 Bharwai and Dimpy Dadhwal, a resident of Nari Tehsil Amb District u/s 25, 29-61-85 of the NDPS Act at Palampur police station.
