UP reports 203 new corona cases, 126 in GB Nagar

Lucknow, April 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh reported 203 new corona cases in the last 24 hours with maximum 126 people testing positive in Gautam Buddha Nagar followed by 30 in Ghaziabad.
Keeping in view the spike in cases in National Capital Region (NCR) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed to conduct at least 1.50 lakh tests every day.
During a meeting to review Covid situation in the state, Yogi said, "New cases of Covid are rising in NCR. In the last 24 hours 126 new cases in Gautam Buddha Nagar and 30 in Ghaziabad have been detected. There is a need to increase testing. Minimum 1.50 lakh tests should be conducted every day. Continuous interaction should be maintained with those resting positive and all necessary arrangements should be made for their treatment. Majority of the patients need home isolation, therefore they should be given full information about Covid isolation protocol."
