Jammu hospitals well equipped to tackle Omicron cases: Doctor

Jammu, Jan 12 (UNI) With the sudden spike in Covid-19 cases, a senior Pulmonologist on Tuesday said that the Chest Disease Hospital, GMC Jammu has geared up itself to face the fresh challenge.
Professor and Head of Department, Chest Disease, Dr Rahul Gupta in a statement issued here said that the CD hospital is well prepared to tackle Omicron cases.
“The GMC Hospital and the CD Hospital each have 110 critical care and oxygen supported beds to deal with any eventuality. The oxygen plants at the twin hospitals and the 500 bedded DRDO hospital at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu are going to put up a strong front against the third wave.
