Two-member committee to probe fire incident in Ghazipur

Ghazipur (UP), Mar 12 (UNI) A two-member committee was constituted on Monday to probe a fire incident in the Mardah area of Ghazipur district in which five people were killed and ten injured when a bus caught fire after it came into contact with a high tension line, official sources said here.
Sources said that District Magistrate Aryaka Akhoury has constituted the committee comprising Chief Development Officer (CDO) Santosh Kumar Vaishya and Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Balwant. "The committee will probe the incident from all angles and submit its report to the DM within two days," they said.
Sources said strict action will be taken against the officers and employees found guilty during the probe. "The Chief Minister's Officer and the Chief Secretary have been apprised with all the facts related to the incident," they said.
