Lucknow, Mar 5 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday approved a proposal related to the ordinance for formation of UP State Capital Region (UPSCR) and other regional development authorities.
This proposal was approved during the cabinet meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Urban Development Minister AK Sharma said that for the convenience of the citizens, the need of the state capital region including Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Sitapur and Unnao, which are neighbouring districts of Lucknow was being felt for long so that unplanned development should not take place. "Its objective is that planned development can be done here on the lines of Delhi NCR," he said.
