UP Congress protests against JEE-NEET exams

Lucknow, Aug 28(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee on Friday protested against the Centre’s decision to conduct JEE-NEET examinations and raised the concerns of parents and students.
The state-wide protest was held at every district headquarters and Central government offices in Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Varanasi, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Moradabad and other places.
A press statement issued here by state Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu said the Congress workers protested across the state against the Central government’s decision to conduct JEE-NEET examinations amid the corona pandemic and raised the voice for students and their parents. The Congress workers protested in front of the state government establishments and district administration headquarters vigorously against the unreasonable and stubborn decision of the Centre.
