Srinagar, Oct 15 (UNI) The parents association of different private schools in the Kashmir valley staged a dharna on Thursday in Srinagar in support of their demands, including waiving off annual fees, transport charges and concession in monthly tuition fees.
Raising slogans in support of their demands, the members of the association were holding placards which reads” No Annual Charges”, “ No Transport Charges” and “ Stop harassing parents and students”.
They alleged that despite announcement by Private Schools Association J&K (PSAJK) that all schools will offer concession to students for the months when all educational institutions remained closed due to lock down in view of COVID-19 pandemic, parents are being forced to pay even transport charges by the school managements.
