1,642 polling booths will be established in Kangra for LS polls

Dharamshala, Mar 2 (UNI) In the Lok Sabha elections of 2024, 1642 polling booths will be established in 15 assembly constituencies of Kangra district, of which there are 171 critical polling stations.
Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa told UNI that the total number of voters in the district is 1328768, of which male voters are six lakh 79 thousand 472 and female voters are six lakh 49 thousand 292.
He said that the number of new voters in the age group of 18–19 years is 10441, while the number of disabled voters is 9938. The number of senior voters above the age of eighty is 37,505.
