Srinagar, Aug 7 (UNI) Business and other activities remained crippled on Friday due to lockdown in view of continued spike in COVID-19 cases in the Kashmir valley, where all religious and other places of worship and educational institutions are closed since March.
Meanwhile, public grievance hearing which was scheduled to be held today at Lt Governor’s Grievance Cell Church Lane, Sonawar, Srinagar has been postponed. New date for the hearing will be announced shortly, an official spokesman said. However, it was not immediately clear whether the public hearing was postponed due to change of LG or due to spike in COVID-19 cases.
Due to fresh increase in coronavirus positive cases, several district administrations have ordered fresh lock down.
