UP: Three youths killed, 2 injured as SUV rams into pole

Fatehpur (UP), Mar 11 (UNI) Three youths were killed and two others were injured when an SUV rammed into an electricity pole in Sadar Kotwali area of Fatehpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Uday Shankar Singh said that the incident took place near Jamalpur on Fatehpur-Lucknow road when the SUV, in a bid to save a stray animal, fell into a moat after colliding with the pole.
He said that five youths identified as Divyansh Gupta (27), Dr. Arkendra Srivastava (28), Gaurang Sachan (25), Shivam (33) and Mayank Chandra Sachan (28) were injured in the incident. "The injured were taken to the hospital, where doctors declared Divyansh, Mayank, and Gauran dead," he said.
