Man dies, sons injured as wall collapses in Farrukhabad

Farrukhabad (UP), Mar 19 (UNI) A 55-year-old man was killed, and his two sons were injured when the wall of a house collapsed in Kamlaganj area of Farrukhabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place in Bahawalpur where Samarpal along with his sons Mohit (19) and Rohit (21) were digging the foundation of their house in the morning. "While digging the foundation the retaining wall collapsed and Samarpal and his two sons were buried under the debris," they said.
Police sources said that the family members and the neighbours launched a rescue operation and took the trio to the community health centre where doctors declared Samarpal dead. "Rohit and Mohit are being treated at the CHC," they said.
