UP: 4, including 3 children killed, several injured as school bus overturns

Barabanki (UP), Apr 2 (UNI) Four persons, including three children, were killed and several others were injured when a school bus overturned in Dewa area of Barabanki district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the students of composite school Harakka in Suratganj development block had gone on an education tour to Lucknow. "While the students were returning back the school bus in a bid to save a motorcyclist overturned in Salarpur under Dewa police station in the evening," they said.
Police sources said that three students and a conductor were killed, whereas several other children were injured in the incident. "The police reached the spot immediately and launched a rescue operation. The injured children have been taken to the primary health centre, Dev and the district hospitals," they said.
