UP: 9 injured as bus collides with SUV

Prayagraj, Mar 9 (UNI) Nine persons, including children, were injured when a bus collided with an SUV carrying school students in Karchhana area of Prayagraj district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police sources said here.
Taking cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to reach the spot and expedite rescue work. He has also directed to ensure proper treatment of the injured children.
Police sources said that the incident near Bheerpur police outpost where the roadways bus in a bid to save a motorcycle collided with the SUV. "Five children identified as Himanshu, Anshika, Ananya, Samar and Madhu were taken to a nearby hospital where they were discharged after first aid," they said.
