Haryana: 3 labourers die, 11 injured as truck runs over sleeping labourers

Jhajjar, May 19 (UNI) Three labourers were killed and 11 others sustained serious injuries when a coal-loaded truck ran over the sleeping labourers near Aasoda toll plaza on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in the early hours of Thursday.
The accident occurred when around 18 labourers were sleeping in the open on the roadside after having dinner Wednesday night and a truck loaded with coal ran over them after hitting the barrier put up by the labourers.
Three of them died on the spot while 11 others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to civil hospital in Bahadurgarh town. Four labourers escaped unhurt.
