Jharkhand BJP president expresses concern over rising incidents of rape

Ranchi, Oct 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party state president Deepak Prakash on Friday expressed his concern over the rising incidents of rape and women atrocities in the state.
He alleged that in the last 9 months of JMM and Congress rule, crime against women has increased and everyday on an average 5 incidents of rape and murder were happening in Jharkhand but the real figures are far away from reality.
Mr Prakash said that in the government when auction of officials and police stations was taking place than in that scenario crime can not be controlled. He said that the incident of Barhet was still fresh in the minds of the people and now a minor has been raped and murdered in Dumka. He said that both the incidents have taken place in constituencies related to the Chief Minister.
