179 policemen tested coronavirus positive so far in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jul 18 (UNI) A total of 179 police personnel have been detected coronavirus positive in Jharkhand so far.
A statement issued by the state police headquarters said that out of the 179 police personnel, 1 is a DSP rank official, 7 are inspector rank officers, 18 are Sub Inspector rank officers, 29 Assistant Sub Inspector rank officers, 20 constables, 82 jawans/drivers, 6 fourth grade employees and 8 home guards. Out of these 96 policemen, 7 have been cured and discharged.
The police headquarters has instructed all the police officials that they must take necessary precautions against coronavirus while maintaining law and order.
