Arunachal’s Covid-19 tally crosses 13K-mark

Itanagar, Oct 17 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 tally crossed the 13000-mark with detection of 198 new cases in the past 24 hours.
According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS), the state’s caseload stands at 13,169, including 10,071 recoveries, and 3,068 active cases. Thirty fatalities have been recorded so far.
Out of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 72, followed by Changlang 25, West Siang 21, East Siang 19 and Tirap 10, it said.
Eight cases were also reported from Lower Dibang Valley (LDV), six each from Upper Siang, West Kameng and Lower Subansiri, five from Namsai, four from Pakke Kessang, three each from Papum Pare and Leparada, two each from Kamle, East Kameng, Longding and Siang, one each from Upper Subansiri and Dibang Valley, the bulletin said.
Of the new cases, 163 are asymptomatic and 35 symptomatic.
As per the bulletin, 182 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus. The recovery rate is 76.47 per cent.
