Tripura: Israeli ambassador Ron Malka discusses agri development, tourism promotion with CM Biplab Deb

Agartala, Nov 4 (UNI) Israeli Ambassador to India Ron Malka arrived here today on a two-day visit to explore the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of management, culture, tourism promotion and use of advanced technology especially, agricultural development in Tripura.
He had a meeting with Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in the afternoon, in which emphasis was laid that the Tripura government sought cooperation of Israel in developing a scientific approach to farming, horticulture mechanisation, protected cultivation, soil treatment, orchid and canopy management.
The chief minister also sought support of Israel for nursery management and post-harvest management through technological intervention besides, water and irrigation management, security and high surveillance system, food processing, packaging, cold storage and technology transfer and ground water management.
