3333 challans, 793 Driving licenses confiscated during a special drive

Cuttack, May 17 (UNI) In the ongoing state-wide campaign against riding motorized two-wheelers without helmets on state and national highways,a total of 3333 challans have been issued in the last two days.
State Transport Authority sources said as many as 3190 riders were issued challan for riding two-wheelers without wearing helmet on National Highway and State Highway by enforcement officers of State Transport Authority.
In the town area 462 riders were issued challans for not wearing helmet. A total of 793 Driving Licenses were confiscated for suspension.
