MPCC's SC, ST, OBC, Adivasi and minority sections stage sit-in at Azad Maidan

Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee(MPCC) President Nana Patole on Saturday said BJP's "bigoted" system has to be uprooted to save democracy and constitution of the country.
He was speaking on the occasion of sit-in protest under his leadership by MPCC's SC, ST, OBC, Adivasi and Minority section staged at Azad Maidan protest against the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership on a "false complaint".

"In the country and in the state, governance is going on in a dictatorial manner. Attempts are being made to stifle the voices of opposition parties by imposing oppressive conditions while allowing them to hold meetings. BJP is creating political divide only by dividing castes and religions," he alleged.
"The humanitarian system worked to destroy the breadwinner, the poor man, the small shopkeeper. These are the people who are working to end the democracy and constitution of the country and cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's Membership is part of it," he further accused.

On this occasion All India Congress Committee Secretary and Co-in-charge Ashish Dua, Sonal Patel, Minority Division President MLA Wajahat Mirza, State President of the Department Siddharth Hattiambire, State President of OBC Department Bhanudas Mali among others were present.
