Missing child: Former SFI leader withdraws dharna

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 23 (UNI) Former SFI leader Anupama Chandran whose newborn baby was taken away by her family on Saturday withdrew her dharna staging in front of the Government Secretariat.
The agitation was withdrawn following interference by State Health Minister Veena George who assured all possible help to ensure justice to her.
Stating that the Principal Secretary has been asked to submit a detailed report on the issue, the Minister said the child should be with the mother.
