Mehbooba mourns Sheila Dikshit's demise; says she transformed Delhi

Srinagar, Jul 20 (UNI) Expressing shock over the sudden demise of former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti said she was one of the tallest leaders in Congress who transformed Delhi in her tenure.
''Shocked to hear about the sudden demise of Sheila Dixit. She was one of the tallest leaders in Congress & transformed Delhi in her tenure as CM. My deepest condolences to her family & loved ones,'' Ms Mehbooba, who is the former chief minister of J&K, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Ms Dikshit, who was a senior Congress leader, passed away on Saturday at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. She was admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning in a critical state due to a cardiac problem.
