Meghalaya making strides despite COVID-19 pandemic, says Governor Malik

Shillong, Jan 26 (UNI) Meghalaya have been making strides across various sectors to ensure the overall development of the State despite the pandemic, Governor Satya Pal Malik said on Tuesday.
“Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, I am happy to say that most of our initiatives are on track. The greatest achievement, however, during the last year has been the management of COVID-19 pandemic itself,” Malik said after unfurling the national flag and taking salute at a ceremonial parade here on the 72 Republic Day.
Meghalaya continues to be amongst the states with the lowest number of active cases and case fatality rates, he said.
