LG Sinha to declare open 'Goonj' festival at Jammu Uni on Tuesday

Jammu, Mar 18 (UNI) In line with the Prime Minister of India's visionary Viksit Bharat initiative, Goonj-2024 acts as a catalyst for India's journey towards becoming a developed nation.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will be inaugurating the two-day mega youth festival on Tuesday, which is being organised by the University of Jammu and poised to give wings to the inner voice and creativity of the youth.
The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. Umesh Rai, addressing a press conference here on Monday, said that the mega fest aims to bring together students from the Jammu region, providing them a platform to express their inner voice through a range of planned creative activities by various departments of the university, including display of cultural and literary activities, sportsmanship, revolutionary Research and Development, etc. This mirrors the university's unwavering dedication towards inclusive growth, he said.
