KP summons IAS officer of Rajastan for posting alleged fake notification on EID by Bengal govt

Kolkata, Jun 22 (UNI) The Kolkata Police has directed Rajasthan-based IAS officer - Sanjay Dixit - for appearance on June 29 at its headquarters - Lalbazar - for his alleged posting of a fake notification on behalf of West Bengal government saying the governor is pleased to declare state government holidays for four days on the occasion of Eid from June 12, 2018, in addition to June 16 which has been notified as state holiday.
The fake notification was circulated in the social media, which had crated confusion until the Kolkata Police intervened and found the notification was fake and the mischief was done by Sanjay Dixit, an IAS officer in Rajasthan.
Sanjay Dixit, who is posted as a commissioner, has been summoned by the city police for an inquiry for the remarks on the fake notification that falsely claimed that the West Bengal government had
