Kerala Guv denies permission to convene Spl Assy Session against farm laws

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 22 (UNI) Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has denied permission to convene a special session of the State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, to discuss the three farm laws passed by the Centre in the Monsoon session of Parliament.
The Governor also sought certain clarifications from the state government on its recommendation to convene the special session on December 23. Though the Government has replied to the clarifications, the Governor was not convinced on its intention to discuss the farm laws, already passed by the Centre.
The Government recommend the Governor to convene the special session, aiming to pass an unanimous resolution against the farm laws, as part of a political agenda, to move against the Supreme Court and the Centre.
