Kashmir should be connected to the nation via more rails and roads: Khattar

Ambala, Jul 21 (UNI) Suggesting that better transportation and communication can help Indian states connect better, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said here on Sunday that Kashmir should be connected to the nation via more rails and roads.
"Jammu, Katra, Srinagar, Baramullaha and Kashmir should be connected on a single railway line to encourage and facilitate people to travel back and forth the state," Mr Khattar said adding that the move would strengthen India-Kashmir relations.
The Chief Minister addressed the audience during the 64th 'National Award Function and 'Railway Exhibition-cum-Rail Mela', wherein he along with the Minister of State Suresh C Angadi felicitated the railways employees from different categories. This was the first time that the annual three-day mega event was hosted in Haryana.
