Kangra airport to get WIFI and Pre paid Taxi facilities in 3 months

Dharamshala, Jun 8 (UNI) Located at the height of 2,492 feet above sea level and spread over 1,269 acres, the Kangra airport will get WIFI and prepaid taxi facilities for the passengers in three months and a snack bar will be set up airport lounge this week.
Director Kangra Airport Parwinder Tiwari today told UNI that Airport Authority of India (AAI) will equip Kangra Airport with Doppler Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Radio Range (DVOR), which is a
distance measuring equipment (DME), by the end of this year to avoid cancellation and diversions of flights by 50 per cent.
