PM Modi slams Congress and TMC for opposing CAA to maintain appeasement policy for vote bank

Malda, Apr 26 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday accused the Congress and Trinamool Congress of indulging in "appeasement" policy to satisfy their vote banks and opposing implementation of CAA.
" CAA is meant for granting Indian citizenship to the refugees, who arrived India after facing persecution in foreign countries on religion ground, " Modi iterated.
" In Bengal the TMC is involved in corruption in every aspect of life
for which some 26,000 families have been suffering after the judiciary cancelled the appointment of the teaching and non- teaching staff in relation to scam in the education system. The TMC does corruption and the people of Bengal suffer, " Modi said while addressing an electioneering for BJP candidates
Sreerupa Mitra Chowdhury (Malda Dakshin) and sitting MP Khagen Murmu of Malda Uttar.
" With the recruitment scam the TMC has toyed with the future of
Bengal's youth, " Modi said and added that corruption and cut money regime was rampant in the state.
The PM accused the TMC of opposing each and every central scheme for
vested interest so that the beneficiaries do not get direct allotment
of such development.
" Right from the Sarada to coal, education, cattle smuggling,
siphoning off funds has become the order of the TMC regime
destroying the future generation of the state, " he averred.
He urged the voters to exercise their constitutional rights and claimed
that they have the reports that the first phase poll was in favour of
the BJP and the second phase too will be for the saffron party.
"I congratulate those who have enthusiastically come out to vote," he
further said adding, "I am happy to see such a huge crowd. Many people
have come here to welcome me. Today people are celebrating the great
festival of democracy. I appeal to you to contribute to democracy
of India by casting vote," Modi said.
" I am overwhelmed with the support you bestow on us as if I was born
in Bengal in my previous birth or be born from the womb of a mother
in the state, " Modi stated.
" The Congress-Trinamool was defeated in the first phase and will be
demolished in the second phase, " PM Modi said.
Modi slammed the Congress and TMC and said under the rule of
TMC, only one thing is going on in Bengal – scams worth thousands of
crores,
Sarada chit fund, animal smuggling scam, ration scam, coal scam etc
and what not.
