Jaundice spreads in Batala; over 100 cases found

Batala, Feb 8 (UNI) Jaundice has been spreaded in various parts of this Industrial city and more than 100 cases were found in the past few days.
As many as 41 jaundice patients were treated in the local civil hospital here.
Taking a strong notice of the disease, a high level team, consisting of Local Bodies secretary Vikas Partap Singh, Water Supply and Sewerage Board CEO DK Tiwari, ESI Director Dr Gulshan, Sewerage Board Chief Engineer Daljit Singh and Dr Abhinav Trikha visited the various localities to take stock of the situation and ordered the concerned authorities to start war footing arrangements to curb the disease.
