J&K LG for promotion of Sufi circuits, spiritual tourism

Jammu, Dec 11 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu on Wednesday directed for development and promotion of Sufi circuit besides focusing on giving a fillip to spiritual tourism in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir which was popularly known as the land of Saints and Sufis since time immemorial.
The Lt Governor said this during a meeting, convened to take stock of functioning of Culture department here.
Mr Murmu laid special focus on working out a comprehensive plan for developing Sufi circuits in J&K, which was blessed with several revered shrines of different faiths.
