India Skills Kerala 2020: Smart kids excel in display of talent

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 20 (UNI) They came as minnows to the event but their unmatched ecstasy and confidence to express their innate talents in various skills surpassed even the verve of trained youngsters in the exciting district-level competitions of the India Skills Kerala 2020, which concluded on Monday.
From third standard student Ravisankar Subin and his eight-year-old elder sister Vismaya, both of whom competed in Painting and Decorating at Chalakkudy in Thrissur district, to Class 8 student Nandu Santhosh and Class 9 student Dheeraj Shankar in Electrical Installation in Alappuzha district, children hogged the limelight by simply displaying their creativity and dexterity with great flourish.
The five-day initial round of the multi-tier India Skills Kerala 2020 competitions, being organized by the Industrial Training Department (ITD) and Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), both under the State Labour and Skills Department, concluded in all the 14 districts across the State.
